The bride is ready.
My daughters preparing on the morning of the big day. It had rained for 4 solid weeks but the Vicar assured us that it would be OK on the day as he had powerful connections. At midday it stopped raining and the clouds shifted to show brilliant sunshine. The next day it started to rain again. The pics are shown in reverse order.

Arrival of the flowers.
Wow, congratulations! I'm a little stunned however; my daughter is six and I thought this whole 'growing up and getting married' thing was just a rumor.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I hope her husband understands 40k! :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks absolutely lovely. Congratulations to her and her husband!
ReplyDeleteDear Mik
ReplyDeleteYou will find the time goes quickly so make the most of it. One day you will come home to find some spotty herbert has his arm around your daughter.

Bloody Hell, John - you must be a proud dad right now! How long til you offload number two?
ReplyDeleteAll good wishes to the happy couple.
Talking of daughters, weather and things American and Devonian...In the last month (the first month of Baby Hazel's life, I might add) we've entertained both Mrs. Drax's mother and (separately; currently) her father, both all the way from Chicago - and they've had nothing but rain here in Devon.
I'm not sure if Hazel's even seen the sun yet...
Dear Drax
ReplyDeleteYes, very proud.
I am working on number two.

My family come from Dartmoor, although I was born in Cornwall (Newquay).
Chicago is the one American city that I have never visited that I would love to visit. Everyone speaks well of it.
