St George's Day
Today is St George's Day, the patron saint of England.
This painting doesn't make St George look all that heroic. That dragon is barely a wyrmling...its a baby! I mean, look at its face, it's like a puppy that's been slapped!
Happy St George's Day! It's a shame really in this country we don't make as much of St George's day as we do St Andrew's Day, St David's Day, and especially St Patrick's Day.

ReplyDeleteDear Big Lee,
ReplyDeleteBut you must admit that the princess is a strapping wench.

Dear Chris
ReplyDeleteCareful, the police will be round to arrest you for thought crime as a suspected English nationalist.
:)
