Alpha Legion Operatives

The Alpha Legion is different from other Chaos Marines. My take is that it consists of small numbers of elite marines backed by human 'operatives' fillinging the troop slots.

They specialise in subversion and surgical strikes so they should mostly be used in small fast hit scenarios: assassinations, sabotage, retrieval etc. Where they fight large scale battles they should be simply the elite core of an allied Cultist or Imperial Guard (renegade) force or possibly be supplementedby other Chaos Warbands.
