Mwah, ha, ha, ha!
My summer war painting order has arrived from those Jolly Good Chaps from Warlord Games. Some support to fill out my Franco-Belgian 1940 platoon, a BA6 Soviet armoured car that is a must for anyone interwar or 1941 gaming, some British reinforcements for colonial skirmish games, and a new venture: a War of the Three Kingdoms starter pack.
War of the Three Kingdoms starter pack.
ReplyDeleteThat IS a new venture
Oh yes, but I have always been fascinated by Renaissance warfare.
Delete"That way madness lies.." looking forward to following your progress with the starter pack. My own ECW project has stalled for the time being, must get back to back soon.
ReplyDeleteSo many models, so little time, gibber.
DeleteToo true John! I'm seriously tempted to get some 10mm ECW/30YW armies having had a quick dabble with Pike & Shotte in 2mm. Will have to wait post hols me-thinks...
DeleteWell, at least I've kept out of napoleonic...
DeleteAlways fun to get new toys!
ReplyDeleteOh yes. Shiney toys, shiney toys.
DeleteMy meagre painting space is festooned with unpainted plastic sprues...sob...
ReplyDeleteEvery so often I have a clearout when my house starts to look like something off 'Hoarders'.

ReplyDeleteYou are very kind Ptr. And you have a nice weekend as well - it's very hot and sunny in southern England.
DeleteI really like Warlord's ECW figures and if I hadn't bought hundreds of the Renegade ones I would have got a lot myself. Still, that's a big box to embark on!
ReplyDeleteA man in his prime can handle a big box.
