IHMN: Desert Chieftan
My next IHMN will be some sort of Sudanese army. I purchased this little gem from Rochester models, painted by an unknown artist.
It would make an interesting mini-supplement. You have Khartoum, the Mahdi, Riverboats, Fuzzi-wuzzies, General Gordon, The Four Feathers, the Egyptian Army... oh the glory and the blood!
And very splendid he is too! Can't beat the Sudan! Interesting to see it done for IHMN!
ReplyDeleteI find the Sudanese colonial period fascinating.
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteLovely painted figure and looking forward to seeing the rest of the Company.
ReplyDeleteMy next INHM project.
DeleteThat's a stunning piece of work and a great idea to boot.
ReplyDeleteI think the painter is called Paul and that's all I know about him.

ReplyDeleteA fascinating period I agree.
DeleteI have to agree. Especially when you see posts like these on the Lonely Gamers blog: http://lonelygamers.blogspot.com.au/search/label/Sudan
