Blastscape
My Blastscape markers have arrived.
They are certainly of a decent size for wargaming and good value for money ar under £12.
The only criticism that I have is that the plastic is very thin and hence slightly warped.

There is almost a witchhunt going on on Dakka about this product.
ReplyDeleteAlot of people are cring foul because it appears they used the masters to paint and put on thier site and not product off the shelves.
There's unfortunately a good bit of crisp detail that's missing from what's displayed on the GW website, but they don't look all to bad. I hope GW moves away from vac-u-forming in the future.
ReplyDeleteAll of the discussion on Dakka really has me thinking about canceling my pre-order. While this product does not look terrible, it does not look like advertised.
ReplyDeleteAre they made differently than the craters released last year?..I thought those where fine.
ReplyDeleteMy impression is that they seem thinner or maybe just less stiff, than the crater models, which I agree were fine. Mine are a bit warped - i.e. won't lie flat.
ReplyDeleteI have just looked at the pics on the GW website - the pics do not appear to be of the final product.
ReplyDeleteI will paint one up and put up a comparison with my moon-crater models.
It's the blastscape marker that have problem not the moon-crater models John so you now.
