Fortress of Redemption & Doomwheel Sprues

Postie knocked on the door to deliver shiny new toys from Games Workshop.

God alone knows when I shall be able to make and paint them but I thought you might like to see the sprues.

  4. Thank you for sharing your sprue with us! One thing; while we all know about how big a Fortress of Redemption is, it would be nice to have a mini in the shots for scale.

  5. Dear Geek,
The large sprues are he size of the box and you can see the scale against the standard size doomwheel box. It is big!

  6. I love both of these kits and plan to pick them up myself sometime before the end of the year. I have a slight criticism of the fortress and that is the massive Dark Angel icon ... I wish they would have cast that as a separate part so people could use the fortress as more of a generic piece ... even if the gigantic robed figure isn't a "Dark Angel" this fortress says nothing but "Dark Angels." I have a DA army in my arsenal though so I'm happy with it and plan to buy it. It comes with soooo much stuff ... I hope the trend of really awesome terrain continues!
