Welcome to my strange alternative world of wargaming with toy soldiers: a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books (HG Wells, Little wars)
I agree entirely! Got up early on a Sunday morning with my daughter to enjoy the show :-)
ReplyDeleteTruly magical episode.
DeleteI'm not a massive Who fan, not that I don't like it I'm just a casual viewer. I really enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteIt does seem to have worked for non-whoees judging by jouralists' comments.
DeleteBrilliantly donw and we were glued to the telly for the duration. Tom Baker appearing at the end was the icing on the cake:)
ReplyDeleteI agree. Tom Baker just had to be in it.
DeleteIf you didn't get to see it, look up Five(ish) Doctors Reboot on the internet. It was a mocumentary about what happened to the other actors for the 50th anniversary episode, written by Peter Davidson.
DeleteI must check that out, thanks.
DeleteHit all the right emotional spots. Awesome piece of work.
ReplyDeleteMoffat is superb
DeleteI agree most wholeheartedly!
