Nurgle Prince on Micro Art Bases - Review
I recently bought some Micro Art Studio bases from All Sorts Emporium. I wanted something swampy and gurgly and Micro Art was the only manufacturer that I could find.

The quality is superb and there is an amazing range. The only feature that I have added to these are the two heads.
The only problem is that they are not cheap - about E1 per 25mm base and E5 for the 50mm base under the Daemon Prince. That is a bit too steep for me, I am afraid, for all but special models - as it works out at about £8.50 of our debased Pounds for a ten man squad.
Still, if you have the cash to flash, I recommend them.

I really like the bright color scheme on your Nurgle Models. I just love the Nurgle Daemon prince model too. I have yet to pick one up and this just makes me want one even more.
ReplyDeleteI agree on the bases, there are cheaper companies out there that are offering up some really slick bases. I have had really good luck with IronHalo and DragonForge.
Dear Cyborg,
ReplyDeleteMost of my Nurgle stuff is pretty old but I like them. I also have some new stuff. When I have finished rebasing and theming them into a single army, I will put up a pic of the minions of the Lord of Swineflu.

Dear Big D
ReplyDeleteYes, I would use those companies if I was 'o'er the water'. It is hardly worth paying airmail for resin.
I tend to react to bright colours (colour-blind) so I use them if I can.
