Guild Witchhunters

This is a Guild witchhunter team led by Sonnia Criid (master). It includes Samael Hopkins (cost 8 soulstones) and three expendable Witchling animated bodies (cost 4 soulstones each). This is a small but perfectly playable Malifaux army and costs less than £20. That makes Malifaux a great 'additional' game as it costs little to buy into. A large force would have two masters and, say, sixteen other models.

It has snowed in southern England. This is something of a rare event so I have included a piccy taken from my front door.

  1. Those Witchlings may be cheap, but they're really great on the table. Run them up, shooting as you go. They're better in melee, and their Shattered Rune Blades have some nasty effects. You've also got the wonderful bonus of Immolating Demise when they die. With their (0) action putting up anit-magic bubbles (6" aura covers a lot of ground), they're loads of fun.

You can also be mean and kill them with Sonnia's spell that will create a Witchling for killing models with higher Ca. Yep, that's right. Witchling recycling with an Immolating Demise thrown in there for some added fun.

Also had snow here about 3" which was a shock as we tend to miss out.

I have not yet played a game. I just have to finish the Arcanists then I intend to have a game with Shaun, if he agrees.

I buy Malifaux from Melstrom Games. Their address is on my sidebar on the left. I have found them to be a good supplier.
We have had six inches of snow with more forecast tonight.

The red eyes worked rather well.
I think this is the worst snow since the early 80s in Kent.

  7. Cool models etc...

    SNOW!

Why is it that the gods wait until after I move from Norwich to South Devon before they start sending snow? Gits!

I would've killed to get the last day off school yesterday!

Hmmm...Maybe we should mosey-on up to Dartmoor today - there might be some snow there...

Who is still trying to get painting done - honest!

The snow is a menace. Medway Council have saved money on gritting. Three old men went down in the shopping precinct outside the library where my daughter works. One split his head, one broke his head and the other's fall triggered a fatal heart attack. In the end, the NHS parked a paramedic wagon there to patch up the wounded. Much cheaper (not) than gritting the frakking place.

  9. John, over a foot of snow here. But that's not why I'm commenting--I bought a box of Space Marines. I blame you. ;)
