Spitfire
I could not resist picking up this magnificent 1/72 Spitfire Mk V prepainted model kit. It is not, as some might think, from the crack West London Territorial Squadron of hairdressers and interior designers but a high altitude photo-reconnaissance plane.
While on the subject of cracking vehicles, I cam across this classic in Hitchen High St. The car is quite interesting as well.

I like pink.
ReplyDeleteOMG! His head! WHERE IS HIS HEAD???!!!! The horror...the horror...
ReplyDeleteDear Igi
ReplyDeleteI once caused consternation by wearing a salmon pink tie with a cream shirt on a trip to the USA. Apparently, it was considered 'brave'. Mind you, I also wore a red jacket in Boston. :)

Dear Fred
ReplyDeleteLOL, The headless disability scooter rider of old Hitchen town.
Now there's a good title for a novel.

Well John, the Yanks (amcsi we like to call them) are not really fan of men wearing pinkish robes (except in San Francisco). In Alabama they shoot and not asking questions later...
ReplyDeleteDear IGi
ReplyDeleteI recall the Top Gear expedition to Alabama - hugely funny. I was hoping the locals would shoot Clarkson :)

Dear John
ReplyDeleteI saw that episode, I like those top gear morons. I have a feeling he is not so popular around the UK?
Dear Igi
ReplyDeleteClarkson becomes wearing after a while - a 16 year old public school boy in a 50 year old body.
J.
Dear John
ReplyDeleteThen I'm glad I've to see him only in Top Gear.
