Da Dredd

Da meck has reassembled his pride and joy and promised that the next boy to break it will be used as an organ bank.

Three combat arms wiv da cutty-crushy things were fitted along wiv a burna to winkle out da grots hidin in de bushes.

Note da tank of burny stuff fo da burna and anuvva one for da worky bits.

  1. Really nicely painted dread you have there, the black and gold edging make it look squite steam punkish to me althought I 'm not sure if that was your intention.

    The pose is great too.

  2. Dear Anon.
Thanks. I did use a deliberate steampunk look because I thought it would fit in well with my steampunk 28ml.

  3. Nice work John! I really love the new Deff Dread and Killa Kan kits, and am in the process of painting a set m'self. I really like the burnished look you got with the armor, that's spectacular! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who devolves into the Orkish pseudo-cockney accent when writing about Da Boyz as well! :)

  4. Ahh I have little money but each time I see pictures of the new dread and killas I skeep a heartbeat I need to get them.

and your paint job really make me desire one more.

I like the yellow metal color, it befits it a lot.

Re: accent. I call it doing a Charlie Wheelan. The accent sounds suitably tough London mean streets but every so often his public school and Surry break through. :)
