From Warlord Games, the Romanian SS officer.
I forgot to brush him down before taking the pics - woops. Bloody static grass sticks like, er, static.

Welcome to my strange alternative world of wargaming with toy soldiers: a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books (HG Wells, Little wars)
Very nice, John - that's a great miniature, and I really like the paint job you've done. I may have to pick one of those up for the 40k:RPG game that I run, always on the lookout for interesting villain models!
ReplyDeleteDear Mordian.
ReplyDeleteWarlord also offer a British army chaplain with crucifix and tommy gun. Perfect for my Commission stories.
J
I think you've done an especially good job with the head and cloak, plus the colour mix on the base gives a very natural effect.
ReplyDeleteTo Mordian7th too, the mini actually does look quite a lot like a Mordian Iron Guard, and the painting adds to the effect.
Nice looking in a evil way. Maybe he was having a roll in the hay?
ReplyDeleteTo Porky
ReplyDeleteThanks, It did turn out better than my normal efforts.
J
Dear Paul
ReplyDeleteVampires having a roll in the hay? Now there's a thought for my next story.
John
I think I'll have to break out my virgins in low cut dresses to distract the count while the rest of the army gets on with zombie clobbering (from my Franco Prussian collection if you were wondering)
ReplyDeleteS. Murphy (figures for all occasions)
Dear Shaun
ReplyDeleteYou have never brought out the virgins in low cut dresses when I drop around your place.
John
Not entirely sure it would be good for you as a gentleman of advancing years
ReplyDeleteDear Shaun
ReplyDeleteTrue. I might have to double my medication,
J
