VBCW Militia - Sloppy Jalopy


Panzerkaput's excelent VBCW site has alerted me to some wonderful militia troops for VBCW.

Like me, you probably associate Sloppy Jalopy with, ah, sloppy jalopies but they do these as well for the giveaway price of £15. The miner's pack above apparently even has a choice of heads - miners hat or otherwise.

Two six section militia chaps from the village cricket team: also for £15.

    Thanks John and they are rather nice little chaps.

    I have the little chaps in front of me and they are amazing sculpts by Bill Thornhill like the Cricketers were, I believe. They are full of character and look the part for a miners/workers militia.

    I have been chatting with Tricks from Sloppy and he is planning on more separate heads including at the moment bare heads, flat caps, pit helmets and bowlers and in the future forage cap, trilby, bandanna and straw boater with a porkpie or a homburg. They are planning bearded/hirsute versions of the separate heads too.

      That sounds great, PK. Changing the head can change the whole feel of the model.
