Spring in Southern England
The flowers are up in Southern England. This is a picture of St Michael's Mount off the south coast of Cornwall.
The north Kent coat is a few days behind, most spring flowers are now in bud, but here are a few hardy souls from my front garden.
The English like flowers.

Models and horticulture, I can almost smell the scene or is that compost?
ReplyDeleteProbably a little gift from one of my neighbours' cats.
ReplyDeleteLucky man! I´m waiting for spring but when I looked out of the window this morning it was snowing and that is very unusual in this part of Germany at the end of february. Where is the sun when you need it?
ReplyDeleteWe have a milder climate out here in the Gulf Stream.
ReplyDeleteJohn-
ReplyDeleteIts supposed to snow on the beach here in California. Hasn't happened in a really long time.

Dear SC
ReplyDeleteIt was so warm here today that Val and I went for a walk along the pebble shore of the oyster fishery at Whitstable. It is half tern and the kids were out playing skipping stones. The Channel was so quiet there were only ripples at the edge of the shore.
