Nail-Biting Election

I have sat entralled watching the election for President of FIFA. Would the sitting president Sep Blatter win or would it be the challenger who was banned from entering the Hall and had his name taken off the ballot?

Arguably, this was the greatest election tussle since the Supreme Leader won the North Korean leadership.

Incredibly, Sepp Blatter won.

I am quite exhausted now.

I was a little confused by why he keeps mentioning pyamids.

  1. Its nice when they keep the choices down to none, speeds up the whole voting process, and think of how easy it is to count all the ballots.

  6. Nah, we had this type of elections under the commies all the time. Much faster, but has a fatal flaw. Usually the elected persion is the most incompetent, but gets elected because it is the most agreeable choice all sides of unseeable power.

It also ensures you get the right sort of chap, the sort who won't peer too closely into another chap's brown envelopes.

Yes, he wants us to bung him the Falklands in exchange for his vote. Why can't he be saisfied with a brown envelope like the rest of FIFA.

PS: "I do not believe a Jew can ever be a referee at that level (Argentine Premier League) because it’s hard work and, you know, Jews don’t like hard work"

Senior Vice-President Julio Grondona - during an Argentine television programme in 2003?

FIFA officials are such honourable men.
