Now that's what I call a gun. A line of these finally stopped the British armoured attack Goodwood in Normandy after they had blasted through two defensive lines of Waffen SS. This is the £25 Warlord Bolt Action metal kit. I highly recommend it. Hugely detailed with six crew and a gun carriage, not shown. I am working out how to attach the carriage so as to deattach it for wargaming. 88s could fire from the carriage but they were defensive weapons so would normally be detached for stability.

DeleteNice looking kit, $40 US intimidates the hell out of me. I admit I would like to get one at some point. I already have a 150mm arty in route, plus two PAK 40s to get done so at the moment I am full up on support weapons.
ReplyDeleteI know, it's not cheap but the quality is excelent. It does take a bit of model making skill. There is an exploded diagram on the warlord website.

DeleteThere are cheaper WWII models than Bolt Action but no better models, if you see what I mean. And if you compare their prices with GW....Bolt Action is good value.

I agree, I have a reinforced platoon of their Italian paratroopers. Great models and they continue to add to the range.
