Climbing Snowden for the Red Cross
No 2 daughter climbed Snowden to raise funds for the British Red Cross.
It was a far harder climb than she anticipated but she made it.
If you would like to recognise her achievement by making a donation then please go here.

ReplyDeleteDear James
DeleteShe is a very determined sort of person.
A great achievement and not one I would even contemplate now.
ReplyDeleteMe neither.
DeleteWhat a great achievement and beautiful photos of the landscape too
ReplyDeleteIt is a spectacular location. Never been myself. Too old now. :)
DeleteGreat achievement!
ReplyDeleteWe plan to do it ourselves this summer, although I am not sure if we will be to make it. We will have 2 1/2 weeks of hiking on our backs by then, including a Ben Lomond just two days earlier. But maybe your daughters achievement will spur us on! ;-(
Best of luck. apparently it's hard work.
DeleteThat was meant to be a ;-)!
ReplyDeleteMost impressive. Always makes it sink in, when you're standing above the clouds!
