Remembrance Sunday
Today is Remembrance Sunday in Britain where we remember those who have died while fighting for us in our armed services. Every city, town and village in the UK has a war memorial and today poppies will be laid there in remembrance.
Today, the 200th British serviceman, a Rifleman, died in Afghanistan.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them".
