  1. Definitely summer skies in the Garden of England this week! Belmont is a rather nice estate, The gardens are superb and it has a 'nuttery'!

    1. Belmont is one of my favourite gardens. We stopped going for a while after one of daughters fainted and nearly took out an antique table. :)

  2. You can almost see the pretty contrails in the sky, 1940-style, can't you?

    I find lying down and looking up at summer skies in the South East is evocative of precisely nothing else.

    Makes me yearn for a well-tailored RAF uniform and for my wife to be dressed as a WAAF...or maybe a 1940s nurse...?
