Benjamin Bunny 2007 - 2015

One of the original founders of John's Toy Soldiers, rabbit, has peacefully passed away. My daughter plans to put his ashes in his favourite place in the garden, where he's dug a little trench to sleep in.

Rabbit sneaking up on a couple of Dark Eldar skimmers.

Rabbit checking out my painting to see if it passes muster.

Our summer moult.

    1. He regularly peed on my trousers, eat me out of house and home, cost me a fortune in medical bills, hutches and so on, chewed up my models - but I loved that stupid little furry beast and will miss him.

  2. Poor Bunny, sorry to hear that John, we get quite attached to our little friends.

....don't suppose I could interest you in a kitten?....various shades of grey stripe?...with white bits?... all five if you like?...ready in three weeks?....pictures on Facebook?...free? look like short-eared bunnies...a bit?

  3. Never had a rabbit as a pet, but sounds like he had a great life and finished it peacefully.

    1. Ben was a half wild male rabbit. He behaved more like a dog than a pet rabbit. He died of a stroke in my arms.

    2. Oh, I see. Sorry to hear that, but in your arms was a blessing too.

  5. I'm sorry, John. He had a happy life by the sounds of it, though.

  6. Sorry to hear that. We lost our hamster earlier in the year and it still feels weird not having him around the house.
