    I thought that was at the Imperial War Museum in London - or did they move it?

      Duxford is now part of the Imperial War Museum.

      So they moved it from the foyer where it used to be near that V2 rocket?

    Nice piece of history - the tank sure had a tall profile - possibly allowing Monty to stand up in it? :)

    He liked to be seen. :)

    His first big problem was restoring the morale of the 8th army, particularly the armour after a series of crashingloop defeats. Hence the showmanship and the association with armoured refinement.
