Seen at Nuremburg, apparently GW intends another push on the toy market with Airfix type gift sets of snap fit models, brush, glue and paints in a box.
The plastic will be coloured so no undercoat or bar coast will be needed.
Price from £10 (top) to £25 (bottom row).
Might be some bargains here lads when the residue gets remaindered.

Interesting development. Will be curious to see how these will actually look in the flesh.
ReplyDeleteProbably not very detailed with few bits. They are clearly aimed at the toy market.
DeleteHummm, I wonder what scale they will be ?
ReplyDeleteThey are 40K snapfits so same scale.
DeleteThe image of GW at Nuremburg holding a rally to sell their products.
ReplyDeleteEin models, ein rules, ein company...
Wonderful, Ashley, wonderful. That hadn't occurred to me. God knows why not? It is most apt.
DeleteAt their annual investor meeting last year, when asked about X-Wing's prepainted minis, didn't the GW rep sneer at the notion of selling 'toys'?
ReplyDeleteI have heard that.
DeleteLooks like they will get those really old kits a new life. The wartruck seems to be their old wartruck kit, same with the ork bike.
ReplyDeleteSo, same old, same old, but with coloured plastic. A way to get some new money from those really outdated kits, I guess.
Sigh
We'll see how well they sell. :)
