Welcome to my strange alternative world of wargaming with toy soldiers: a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books (HG Wells, Little wars)
That thing covering the driver's vision port is what most people have as a "Doom Siren" as well. I forget what the "Doom Siren" actually does, but I suspect that it is offensive. If you take my meaning.
ReplyDeleteAnother triumph John.
Fantastic job on both tanks! The scabby-looking red looks great, keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteDear Z
ReplyDeleteCan't remember what a doom siren does. Something to do with chaos marines, i think.

Dear Mordian

In the Last Ed Dex it was the Dirge Caster Bit of the Upgrade sprue, it used to give -1 Ld to nearby enemies, if I recall correctly.
ReplyDeleteThe Doom Siren was a Noise Marine Weapon which if I recall properly was somewhat like a flamer and was able to be given to Asp Champs.
I found that bit particularly useful in making Chaos Dread Blastmasters.
Dear sub
ReplyDeleteAh, I didn't know that. It was just decoraton to me.
