Welcome to my strange alternative world of wargaming with toy soldiers: a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books (HG Wells, Little wars)
Yes, another tank....give it a home! Buy it! Help the economy! Spend! Go in debt further! Refinance your home and buy a new army!
ReplyDeleteI see you undersand the mindset. I can always cut down on inessentials: food, heating etc.
DeleteI was eyeing them up as well - thinking they could do double duty as support for late war Soviets as well as modern Africans!
ReplyDeleteYes, these were all over the world in the post war period.
DeleteGet it! My philosophy - I 'need' to buy it; but hang on, I don't have any 28mm WW2/modern stuff. No problem, buy and start a new period/scale. Result: purchased item remains in box/blister in the 'to do' recess of my gaming vanity projects mountain...ho hum. By the way, how much is it? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is priced yet, Monty. Look on this as an opportunity to fill your home with even more models.
DeleteGiven that many people smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, you can always justify buying it if you don't smoke for a few days. You don't smoke? Excellent no need to cut down on cigarettes then and the money you would have spent is used "Productively". All the best mate.
ReplyDeleteMust try that line of argument on the Civilian Authorities in chez Lambshead.
DeleteThat line does not work with my wife. 8)
DeleteI am not hopeful, either. Still worth a try.
