Lizardmen Pool

Deep in the swamps of Lustria, something stirs in the water.

Cue Vincent Price: Nah - aha hah ha.

Note: I elected to use hotpour 'water' rather than the more expensive cold pour, resulting in one melted Plastic Crater and a burn in my hand that you can still see three weeks later.

If you are tempted to save cash this way, my advice is - For the Love of God, don't!

  1. Sometimes you must suffer for your hobby. Many years ago I gave myself a cut with a hobby knife that required 9 stitches. Completely filleted my thumb.

As for your spawning pool, I think it looks great. I especially like the glyphs around the craters edge.

  2. At least you didn't suffer needlessly. I think the pool looks beautiful. It even looks like there are ripples radiating outwards... even if that was coincidental and not done on purpose, it's neat!

  3. The ripples were caused by me using to low a temperature in an attempt to stop the bottom falling out of the plastic crater :)

But it was was serpenditious (sp?).

I have also been in casualty after a nife slipped!

  4. I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
