I have been going through my box of advance order goodies.
The Cadian command set is brilliantly conceived. You have a wide range of options and these can be added to standard Cadian models. There is a great range of special weapons, note the HEAVY hand-held flamer.
There are two sets of banners, nice touches like add on rebreathers and so on.
It is great value for money.
The only odd thing is that mine came with a sealed pack of FOUR bases for a five model set.
Why?
It doesn't matter to me because I have loads of old bases knocking around but how about the kids who have no spares?
Trouble in store for the shop managers, methinks.
Leaving that aside, another winner methinks. GW are producing some great stuff.
mine came with 5 bases. My problem is that dont like the long coat... so Im missing a pair of legs!! They'v given options for different upper bodies but then you'd HAVE to use that coated lower body!!??

I can't help but note there are two standards, a left handed and right handed. I guess you could use them both at once for twice the inspiration!?!

ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed the rebreathers and heavy flamer in the Cadian Command sprues before. Wasn't planning on getting one of these right away. I am now reconsidering. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

How much do I love that pace stick?
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's a lucky dip with the baggies of bases they include. Sometimes you get 2 or 3 extra, most times you get the right amount, and on rare occasions you are missing 1.
