Ultramarines Movie


The Ultramarine movie is available.

I haven't seen it.


However, it has nasty cheap animation. That won't matter too much if the script and story are decent but.....

    I'm very confused. Did you accidentally schedule this post for 2 years after its intended posting? The movie has been out since 2010.

      It's been repackaged and there's also a Blu-ray release coming out in June.

    It's... Not great. Worth watching just for the fact that it's 40k but I found it to be fairly disappointing. I do have high hopes for "Lord Inquisitor" though!

    It was released in 2010, but they have sent around the trailer again in conjunction with the Blu Ray version and finally being distributed beyond the cranky internal ordering system (that never worked for me). It's new, for example, on Amazon.

    I made the mistake of paying money for the deluxe version when it was released. Not recognisable as a Dan Abnett peice. Graphics from Dawn of War.

    Should have just spent the money subscribing to a porn channel, it would have been money better spent...

      The brief clips I saw were dreadful. Bad graphics, excruciating dialogue.

    I would say the proper term to describe it is "dreadful". It is worth watching solely for the Chaos star made from crucified Imperial Fists Marines, a scenery piece I need to build one of these days.

      What amazes me it all the various GW worthies filmed exclaiming how wonderful the movie is (Rick Priestley a notable exception). The problem is you only burn your credibility away when you claim offal is gold.
