Welcome to my strange alternative world of wargaming with toy soldiers: a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books (HG Wells, Little wars)
I do love my ebooks, its true, John, but a physical book does have an irrational but real tangibility :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on shipping!
ReplyDeleteThanks John. My publisher actually does the shipping. I just wrote the things.
DeleteI can recommend it highly, and I am waiting for the sequel.
ReplyDeleteSequel will depend on sales. A London story is a bit of a point for my American publisher.
DeleteWell push them at Worldcon!!!!
DeleteThanks Tom. One of the chapters is set in Excel Where they are holding worldcon.
DeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joakim
DeleteHmm... read the blurb on Amazon...
ReplyDelete" Lambshead deals out wry swipes at ... obsessive hobbyists,..."
Do I hear the sound of a stone flying trough a glasshouse...? :-)
I mention but two things. 1 The story is set in East London where a certain major game show takes place at Excel. 2 It takes one to know one and you should write about what you know.
DeleteAlways nice to see your stuff in print!
ReplyDeleteThere's something rather virtual about ebooks. :)
