The Thames, Yesterday

Took this photo yesterday on the Thames near the Dartford Crossing from the Rainham Marshes on the north bank at about midday when it briefly stopped raining.

The ait temp was about 9C but it felt much colder due to the winds.

  1. A very atmospheric photo! Yes, I was surprised by the difference in the actual and perceived temperature yesterday. I was looking at a higher up part of the Thames at Weybridge where it is still over the banks and in people's gardens. My son's rowing club landing stage is now cut off from the bank...

    1. There's a lot of flooding in Essex as well on the old Thames flood plain.
